Got Talent judge Simon Cowell returned to the UK this week for the first time since breaking his back in a bike accident last year. The mogul was spotted out and about in London.

Simon Cowell Returns To The UK
The Sun has photos of Simon walking down the street in London this week. The BGT judge sported a black puffer jacket with black gloves and a face mask. As we’ve seen in previous outings, Simon appears to be back on his feet and moving around well after his accident.
Last August, Simon fell off an electric bike at his home in Malibu, breaking his back in several places. He underwent a six-hour surgery and had a metal rod put into his back. Simon had to miss the live shows of both AGT and BGT while he recovered.

In recent months, however, Simon has been up and about. He recently vacationed with his family in Barbados, where he was seen jet skiing and hanging out on a yacht. Photographers also snapped pictures of Simon’s scar from his back surgery.
His friend Sinitta said Simon had put on weight by adding protein to his vegan diet during recovery, but The Sun points out that he’s still looking pretty slim these days. In October, Sinitta said he was “fit and relaxed,” finding “his sweet spot.”
When Is Simon Returning To TV?
Production on Season 15 of BGT was supposed to start in January of this year, but it was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Recently, ITV announced that production has been delayed all the way to 2022, meaning Simon won’t be back on the judging panel this year.

Although Season 16 of AGT started virtual auditions in November, the fate of the new season is still uncertain. However, one place fans can expect to see Simon is on the fourth season of X Factor in Israel.
Simon has signed on to be a judge on the show, which reportedly started production in December. “Over the years The X Factor format discovered amazing talents from all over the world, I can’t wait to see what Israel have to offer,” Simon said in a statement.
