Fans of Simon Cowell can finally welcome the entertainment mogul back to their television screens rather soon. Many have been looking forward to seeing Simon’s big return to Britain’s Got Talent. But the show has been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. And with Season 16 of America’s Got Talent up in the air, we were really hoping for some good news like this.

All About Simon Cowell’s Big Return To Television After Bike Accident
“Despite everyone at ITV, Thames and Syco doing their best to make it happen, and with our absolute priority of safeguarding the well-being and health of every person involved in the program, from judges, hosts and contestants to all of the crew and audience, the decision has been made to — unfortunately — move the record and broadcast of the 15th series of Britain’s Got Talent to 2022″ a spokesperson said.
Simon had previously missed out on the Season 14 ‘BGT’ Live Shows. He had a scary fall off his electric bike that left him with a broken back. He underwent a six-hour surgery to have a metal rod placed in his back and has fully recovered. More recently, he took a holiday trip to his favorite vacation spot in Barbados and was looking forward to filming Britain’s Got Talent in January. Check out the video below for all of the full details about Simon’s accident.
With the taping of Season 16 of America’s Got Talent up in the air, Simon has signed on to take a job elsewhere. He will be joining the judging panel on the fourth season of The X Factor Israel. He is the creator of the show and has prior experience judging the UK and US versions of the show. The X Factor Israel is already currently in production.
“Over the years The X Factor format discovered amazing talents from all over the world, I can’t wait to see what Israel have to offer” he said.
What Will Happen To ‘AGT’ And ‘BGT’?
Last year, America’s Got Talent announced that the auditions process would be completely virtual for Season 16. Auditions began in November, with people encouraged to show off their talents on Zoom in the hopes of winning the coveted prize. It is still suspected that the show will air in May with some format changes to help ensure the safety of all of the contestants. We definitely hope to see Simon back on the judging panel.
‘BGT’ is eyeing a return in 2022. We definitely think Simon will keep his schedule clear for when the show returns. After all, he is everyone’s favorite judge and we miss his bromance with David Walliams.
