Robin Thicke has had to cancel his upcoming appearances on tour with Ne-Yo and Mario due to scheduling conflicts with The Masked Singer. Thicke shared the disappointing news with fans on social media earlier this week.
Robin Thicke Drops Out of Tour with Ne-Yo, Mario
In June, singer Ne-Yo announced that he was embarking on a new Champagne and Roses tour, alongside Robin Thicke and Mario. The 15-city tour is scheduled to kick off in September, with stops in Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and more.
Unfortunately, the tour will no longer feature Thicke, as he’ll be busy filming for The Masked Singer. Thicke wrote in his announcement that taping for the show is “moving up,” leaving him unable to go on tour this fall.
Thicke added that he “was really looking forward” to joining Ne-Yo and Mario. He added, “Wishing the guys good luck on the tour!” Ne-Yo has since announced that the tour will now feature Mario and Pleasure P.
Fans have expressed their disappointment with the news that Thicke won’t be appearing on the tour. One Twitter user wrote, “You better headline your own tour next summer to make up for it! And play some deep cuts.”

Fans Can Request Tickets to The Masked Singer
As Thicke shared in his social media announcement, The Masked Singer is scheduled to tape this fall. On Camera Audiences currently has several dates listed in September and October, with tickets available now for some of the earlier dates.
The website doesn’t specify which season this is for. Season 10 of the show is scheduled to kick off next month. There’s speculation that these new filming dates are actually for Season 11, which wouldn’t premiere until the spring.
Thicke’s comment that the tapings were moved up seems to support the idea that the show is already starting production on the spring season.
