Piers Morgan Might Return to ‘BGT’ in 2022
Ever since Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell were spotted taking a walk around London earlier this year, speculation has emerged as to what may be in the works between the two.
Now, new information has come to light. Reports suggest Cowell is currently in negotiations with Morgan on new and returning projects.
“During their three-hour walk, Piers and Simon discussed the possibility of working together, and the hope is that Piers will come on board,” a source close to Simon said.

Sinitta added to these rumors recently, speaking on a conversation she had with Cowell before he arrived back in the U.S.
“I saw the pictures of him walking with Piers and I did speak to him just before he went back to America,” she said. “I said: ‘Oh, are you getting Piers to do BGT?’ And he said: ‘You’ll see darling, we’ll talk about it.’ He was being a bit secretive.”
Morgan’s Comments About Harry and Meghan Could Create Problems for Cowell
Sinitta did, however, mention some complications that could arise in relation to Morgan’s outspoken comments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen now with the scandal with Harry, Meghan, and Piers,” Sinitta said. “The thing is, Simon is also good friends with Prince Harry so I honestly don’t know. I would imagine it would be quite tricky because he’s friends with both of them.”

“I think Simon is a more sympathetic and compassionate type of person and he’s also a very protective person,” Sinitta continued. “If they were going to do something he would be feeling really in quite a difficult position.”
Britain’s Got Talent was canceled for 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is slated to return in 2022.
