Peta Murgatroyd, Maksim Chmerkovskiy Welcome Their Third Son

Married Dancing with the Stars pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have officially welcomed their third son together. The couple shared the news on Instagram, along with the baby’s name.

Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy welcomed their new bundle of joy on Friday, July 12. They shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo of mom and dad in the hospital with the baby. They later posted a closeup of the newborn.
The couple shared that “mom and baby are doing perfect,” adding that “delivery took around 47 seconds total,” with only one push needed. In their second post, they shared that the baby was born at 8:48 a.m. and weighed eight pounds.
They also revealed the baby’s name — Milan Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They added, “The fam is complete.” The couple already shares two other sons — Shai Aleksander, 7 years old, and Rio John, 1 year old.
Murgatroyd later shared a video in which she and Chmerkovskiy can be seen dancing together at home. She called it “the dance that made Milan dance out of ME,” as they apparently filmed it the morning of his birth. She added that “he was probably sick and tired of being thrown around in my belly.”

The Couple Has Been Open About Their Journey
Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy have been open about their journey to expanding their family, including their experience with IVF. Murgatroyd also shared that she had suffered multiple miscarriages as the couple tried to have a second baby.
They welcomed their second child, a son named Rio, last June. Then in February of this year, they announced that they were expecting another child together. Now, just over a year after Rio’s birth, they’re a family of five.
Several famous names from DWTS commented their congratulations to the couple on Instagram, including former pro Cheryl Burke and last season’s winner Xochitl Gomez. The couple’s sister-in-law Jenna Johnson also shared her excitement, writing, “Cannot wait to meet you sweet boy.”
