The Kelly Clarkson Show is currently in its final season, but when can fans expect to watch the last episode? Taping for the grand finale reportedly took place earlier this month, but the show isn’t coming to an end just yet.
When Is The Kelly Clarkson Show Ending?
Kelly Clarkson announced in February of this year that her eponymous talk show would be coming to an end after the current seventh season. The Kelly Clarkson Show debuted in 2019, and in that time, production moved from Los Angeles to New York City.
According to The Sun, the final episode of the show was filmed on June 5. However, filming of the show continued after that. A note on the ticketing website informed fans, “Please note that tapings are filming out of order, and we will continue taping episodes during the week of June 7.”
An official air date for the series finale has not yet been announced, but NBC Insider reports that the show will come to an end sometime this fall. Around the same time, fans can expect to see Clarkson back on The Voice as a coach for Season 30 of the show.
During a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, actress and musician Rita Wilson took a moment at the end of her interview to thank Clarkson for her time hosting the talk show. The kind comments brought Clarkson to tears.
“I wanna thank you for the years that you’ve been doing your show. I wanna thank you for literally changing the game when it came to daytime television,” Wilson told Clarkson. “The fact that you love music. That you have brought so much music to daytime, that you have shared with us your voice, your gifts, and everyone else’s and your incredible band. I really wanna thank you because it has made a big change in my life. So thank you, Kelly.”
