Former The Voice coaches Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas reunited this week on Clarkson’s talk show, as Jonas talked about taking his baby daughter home from the NICU. He also congratulated the host on her Daytime Emmy nominations.
Nick Jonas Talks About Taking Baby Daughter Home
Jonas’ baby daughter with wife Priyanka Chopra recently spent over 100 days in the NICU. They had announced the baby’s birth via surrogate in January of this year. The couple shared a sweet Instagram photo to celebrate their daughter coming home.
“It’s pretty wild,” Jonas told Clarkson of becoming a father, as he looked at the photo of his family. “She’s the best. It’s just been a magical season of our life, and also pretty wild. But it’s a blessing to have her home. It’s been wonderful.”
Jonas and Chopra got married in 2018, after first connecting when Jonas sent Chopra a DM on Twitter. They later spent time together at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscars party and the Met Gala, and the rest was history.

Jonas Congratulates Clarkson on Her Emmy Nominations
The Kelly Clarkson Show recently received nine Daytime Emmy Nominations. After telling Clarkson about his baby daughter, Jonas brought this exciting achievement up with the host, saying, “And you have a lot to celebrate.”
Jonas went on to propose a toast. The pair sipped drinks made from Villa One tequila, which is a brand co-founded by Jonas himself with designer John Varvatos. Clarkson said the drink “feels like home,” telling Jonas that he served great drinks at his house when she visited.
Neither Jonas nor Clarkson will be returning to The Voice for Season 22 this fall, but you can catch Jonas as a judge on the talent show Dancing With Myself. The competition premieres May 31 on NBC, after the Season 17 premiere of America’s Got Talent.
