Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated their first Mother’s Day by posting a family photo on Instagram. Within the couple’s caption, they revealed that their daughter has officially come home after “100 plus days in the NICU.”
On May 8, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra shared their first Mother’s Day with their baby girl, Malti Marie. To celebrate, the couple posted their first family photo. They have chosen to keep the identity of their daughter private at this time by placing an emoji over her face.
Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra Reveal That Their Daughter Spent “100 Plus Days in The NICU”
Along with the photo, they shared a personal message to Instagram. Their message revealed the details of their “challenging” parenthood journey to date.
“After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is,” Jonas wrote. “We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home.”
The Jonas Brothers member went on to express that this is the beginning of a new chapter for him and his wife. Following the details on their journey, Jonas shared a heartfelt message to Chopra.
“I want to take a minute to say a special Mother’s Day wish to my incredible wife Priyanka Chopra on her first Mother’s Day,” Jonas wrote. “Babe, you inspire me and every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother.”
Chopra shared a similar message on her Instagram page. Within her message, she included a note to other mothers and to her husband. The adorable note to Jonas expressed her excitement about their new chapter of life together.
“Also… there is no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mama Nick Jonas I love you,” she wrote.
On January 21, the couple announced the arrival of their daughter via surrogate on Instagram. At the time of the announcement, they shared that they were overjoyed, but wanted privacy with their newborn.
