Niall Horan Sends His Music Drafts to One Direction to Seek Feedback

One Direction may not be together anymore as a band, but there’s definitely no stopping them from working off the screens. Recently, Niall Horan revealed that before putting out new music, he normally messages some of his former bandmates to ask for their feedback.


Niall Horan Says He Asks for One Direction’s Opinion of His Unreleased Music

In his latest appearance for Esquire, Horan has gotten candid about his creative process, admitting that he needed help from One Direction members. According to the now The Voice coach, he usually calls for their honest opinion about his unreleased song compositions.

“Not every time, but if I feel like I need an opinion, I always send it out,” he said.

For Horan, it pays to listen to their input, given their career history. The “This Town” singer then stated that he’s most recently sent his music drafts to Louis Tomlinson. He went on, saying that the said ex-bandmate has provided handy pieces of advice.s


“We’ve released enough songs over the years, so we know what’s decent and what’s not,” he said. “All the 1D boys and artists alike, I’ll always try and send it around and get everybody’s opinion.”

For the past months, fans have seen how the former bandmates exchange wholesome greetings to one another, evidently cheering for everyone’s success. When Harry Styles accepted the Album of the Year award at the BRIT Awards, he paid tribute to the remaining four of One Direction. Furthermore, Tomlinson expressed pride for Horan who has lately joined the panel of coaches on The Voice.

He Teases His Song ‘Meltdown’

Amid the looming release of his album The Show, Horan has been teasing fans regarding the details of his newest musical era. Recently, the singer uploaded a raw video footage of him, singing a few lyrics of one of the collection’s tracks, “Meltdown.” On Instagram, his followers are quick to express their excitement over the unreleased song.


“I don’t think i’ve ever been more excited for a record. this is too good,” one fan wrote.

Last month, the singer released the full tracklist of the album, revealing “The Show,” “You Could Start A Cult,” and “Science” as some of his newest songs. “Heaven” and “Meltdown.”

“I’m gonna have a meltdown when you release the album and tour dates,” another user wrote.

Horan’s The Show will be available in streaming platforms on June 9.
