Spanning 14 seasons alongside its multiple spin-off shows, RuPaul’s Drag Race has bred numerous queens throughout the years. Yet, it’s no secret that some divas indeed shone bright than the others.

1. Adore Delano
Adore Delano joined Drag Race season six and had a good run by making it to the finals. Yet, before introducing herself as a drag queen, she kicked off her mainstream career on American Idol back in 2008 using her real name, Danny Noriega. She returned for All Stars and shocked the whole drag community when she eliminated herself in the competition.
2. Shangela
With her hilarious antics and popular “Halleloo!”, Shangela is indeed one of the most remarkable drag queens of all time. This Texas native is the first queen to compete on three separate seasons of the show, thus becoming a consistent fan-favorite. She further cemented her image in the drag community when she became the first drag queen to compete in Dancing With The Stars.
3. Bianca Del Rio
As the most followed drag queen on Instagram, there’s no denying that Bianca Del Rio is one memorable and successful diva. She won Drag Race back 2014, proceeding to captivate fans through her sarcastic and sharp-tongued humor. She’s since released feature films and comedy stand-up specials.
4. Trixie Mattel
Winning season three of Drag Race All Stars, Trixie Mattel has proven her relevance in the music and comedy scene. She is one of the wealthiest drag queens with fame going beyond social media and her community. Mattel is also notable for her comedic partnership with fellow Drag Race alum Kayta Zamolodchikova with their YouTube show UNHhhh. As an extremely successful entrepreneur, she’s launched a beauty brand, a local LGBTQ+ bar in Milwaukee, and renovated a motel.
5. Alyssa Edwards
Alyssa Edwards first appeared on Drag Race season five and once again graced drag television by joining All Stars 2. Soon after, she was able to launch a highly anticipated YouTube series Alyssa’s Secret. She’s also released a Netflix reality series back in 2018, titled Dancing Queen.
6. Sasha Velour
No Drag Race fan will ever forget when Sasha Velour iconically pulled off her wig, ruvealing rose petals in the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. After not getting much attention during most of the season, she surprisingly snatched the crown after this performance. She’s made appearance in notable series The Bold Type and Broad City, and has had New York Fashion Week show.
7. Bob The Drag Queen
Hailed as the winner of Drag Race season eight, Bob the Drag Queen has made huge waves in the comedy scene. Her videos on TikTok and undeniably hilarious, much more her comedy specials, Suspiciously Large and Live at Caroline’s. Amazingly, she also stars in HBO’s We’re Here alongside Shangela and Eureka and currently co-hosts a podcast along with Monét X Change called “Sibling Rivalry.”
8. Symone
It’s no secret that Symone had some of the most iconic looks on the runway in RuPaul’s Drag Race 2021. Between joining the show with some of the best hairstyles of the season, showing off her uniquely powerful looks, and her gentle yet goofy personality, she definitely will not be forgotten.
9. Katya
Despite not getting the crown during Drag Race 2015 nor All Stars 2, Katya Zamolodchikova has still become a famous personality in the community. Together with Trixie Mattel, she stars in web series UNHhhh. A New York Times bestselling author, co-wrote Trixie and Katya’s Guide to Modern Womanhood.
10. Latrice Royale
Deemed to be one of the “most powerful drag queens in America,” Latrice Royale is that “chunky but funky” diva. Interestingly enough, Latrice is the only queen to be eliminated four times. After appearing in three Drag Race shows, it’s no surprise that she’s worth tons today.
