Meghan Trainor will Coach on ‘The Voice UK’ 2020, Who Did She Replace?
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Last month, Jennifer Hudson revealed she would be stepping out of her position as a coach on The Voice UK due to other commitments. We were sad, but also intrigued and eager to find out who would be taking her place on the panel. Now we finally know who will be filling her seat in…Meghan Trainor!
Coach Meghan Trainor
Meghan will coach hopefuls alongside Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs, and will.i.am on the upcoming series, which will be the show’s ninth. The coaches on the show often get to perform themselves as well, so hopefully, we’ll get to see some of that from Meghan!
No Stranger To Talent Shows
Meghan has already made several appearances within The Voice franchise. Even though she’s never coached before, she has sung some of her hit songs as a guest performer on both the UK and US editions of the show.
An Impressive Resume
The Voice UK won’t be the first time Meghan has shared her wisdom with talent show contestants: she was a judge on The Four in America, a show she also had input in during its development phase…
…and earlier this year, she appeared on Songland, later releasing the winning song from her episode, “Hurt Me”!
We can’t wait to see what Meghan brings to Series 9 of The Voice UK when it airs in 2020! How do you think Meghan will do as a coach? Let us know in the comments below!
