Meghan Trainor Welcomes First Child With Daryl Sabara — See The Adorable Photos

Singer Meghan Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their first child together. The pair have been dreaming of starting a family for years and are ready to step into parenting mode with the arrival of their little bundle of joy. The Four judge just posted on Instagram to say that they had the baby early on February 8, despite her Valentine’s Day due date.
Meghan Trainor Gives Birth To First Child With Daryl Sabara
The baby boy named Riley arrived just after Meghan had major success with her Christmas album A Very Trainor Christmas. During the pregnancy, Meghan put her baby bump on full display on TikTok and Instagram giving fans fun updates on her pregnancy. She found the balance between working and nesting in preparation for giving birth. In an Instagram post announcing the birth, Meghan thanked Daryl for “the best Valentine’s gift ever!”

Meghan and Daryl first met in 2014 at a house party. They fell in love after one of their famous friends set them up on a date in 2016. They dated for two years and were married on December 22, 2018, just a few days before Christmas which also happens to be right around Meghan’s birthday. So the holidays are extra special for this couple especially after getting to celebrate their pregnancy and birth during this time.
Meghan previously announced the pregnancy on Instagram in early October. “You all know how long I’ve wanted this!!!! @darylsabara and I are so beyond happy and excited to meet this little cutie early next year! WE’RE PREGNANTTTTT!!!” the caption on the post said. She posted a picture of her sonogram hanging from a Christmas tree to keep the theme of promotion for latest album. The post got over a million likes.
Meghan Did Face A Small Bump In The Road During The Pregnancy
On an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Meghan announced that she was having a boy. She previously thought she was having a girl after looking up signs online. She also shared in several other interviews that she developed gestational diabetes during the pregnancy but said that it is manageable.
“Got a little tiny bump in the road—I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes, but it’s manageable and it’s okay” she said in an interview with Today. “And I’m healthy and the baby’s healthy. I just have to really pay attention to everything I eat.”
“I basically just watch what I eat now, I write everything down, I check my blood and we’re good now,” she said in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I’ve been crushing it. It’s like a game for me. And I’m winning.”
Previously, the former ‘Four’ judge spoke about how she wants to have a lot of kids. “I want a village,” she said. “I want a big, big, big, family and my husband’s down, he’s nodding his head. We already have names for two of them.”
