Christmas Baby Meghan Trainor Tops The Charts With ‘White Christmas’

The Voice UK coach Meghan Trainor recently hit the top of the Adult Contemporary chart with her cover of “White Christmas.” The song features Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.

Meghan Trainor’s ‘White Christmas’ Tops The Chart
According to Billboard, Meghan and Seth’s “White Christmas” reached the top of the Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart for the week of December 12. It’s the first holiday song to reach No. 1 on the list this season.
It’s not the first time Meghan has reached the top of this chart with a holiday classic. During the 2016 holiday season, her version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with Brett Eldredge hit No. 1.

Meghan’s album A Very Trainor Christmas, meanwhile, made it to No. 7 on the Top Holiday Albums chart in November. As for “White Christmas,” the 1942 tune is the best-selling single of all time, and it previously peaked at No. 2 on the AC chart thanks to a virtual duet between Bing Crosby and Michael Bublé in 2012.

Meghan Trainor’s Dream About Her Family’s Invovement In Her Album
In addition to Seth MacFarlane, Meghan Trainor’s holiday album also features a few members of her family. Her dad Gary appears on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Her cousins Jayden, Jenna, and Marcus Toney appear on “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

“I’m a Christmas baby, it’s always been a dream of mine to release a Christmas album and to do it with my family makes it that much better,” Meghan said of the project in a statement, according to People.
