Mark Ballas and Maura Higgins, and Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess for 'Dancing With the Stars'

Tonight, Dancing With the Stars brought out their scariest trick yet, bringing in a guest judge for Horror Movie night. The professional dancers were terrified of the guest judge, Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas. Here’s everything that happened in tonight’s episode.

Harry Shum Jr., Jenna Johnson Earn First 10’s Across the Board of Season

After a rough set of rehearsals, Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa took the stage first performing Argentine Tango to “The Dogs Attack” by Jerry Goldsmith, Lionel Newman, and National Philharmonic Orchestra from The Omen. Ezra pushed Julia hard during rehearsals this week, but it ultimately paid off, they earned 26 out of 40 points. Last week, they earned 36 out of 40 points, so their overall score for the two weeks is 62.

Up next was Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson who performed a Contemporary to “Toxic” by 2WEI from the movie Saw. Judges were obsessed with this performance, they thought it was “nothing like I’ve ever seen before.” The pair earned 40 out of 40 points. Combining with their last week’s score, they earned 76 points. They earned the first 10’s across the board of the season!

Tatyana Ali was the next celebrity to perform on Horror Movie night. She and Jan Ravnik were the only partners performing a Latin dance for Shirley Ballas, so they were understandably very nervous for this dance. Their Paso Doble to “I Lied to You” by Miles Caton from Sinners earned them 28 out of 40 points. Combined with their points from last week, they have 60.

Val Chmerkovskiy returned to the ballroom tonight for his dance with partner Jenna Dewan. Together, they performed an incredible Argentine Tango to “Uninvited” by Damned Anthem and Kendra Dantes from 28 Weeks Later. Judges were extremely impressed with this dance, even if there was a small hiccup in the routine. They earned 37 out of 40 points, making their two-week total 74.

Connor Wood Makes MASSIVE Break Through

Connor Wood finally had a huge breakthrough on Horror Movie night. His contemporary (to “You Are My Sunshine” by Charles McDonald from Annabelle Creation) with partner Rylee Arnold seriously earned crazy praise from the judges. This was easily his best dance yet so it was no surprise they earned 37 out of 40 points, 69 for their two-week total.

Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach followed this performance with a Jazz routine to “Madness” by Ruelle from The Invisible Man. Ezra suffered a setback from his prosthetic causing irritation from over use, but that didn’t stop their performance from being insane. They earned 35 out of 40 points, making their overall score 72.

Then, Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess danced a Viennese Waltz to “Love Song For a Vampire” by Annie Lennox from Bram Stoker’s Dracula. They earned 36 out of 40 points, making their overall score 58.

Amber Glenn Impresses With Meaningful Song

The second to last performance of the night was Olympian Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov. Together, they performed an Argentine Tango to “Perfection” by Clint Mansell from Black Swan. Their intense dance earned them 36 out of 40 points, making their two-week total 74.

The final performance of the night was Traitors stars Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas. They performed a contemporary to “Cry Little Sister (Theme From “The Lost Boys”)” by Gerard McMann from The Lost Boys. They earned 32 out of 40 points for this dance, making their two-week total 67.

Now, fans braced for the highly anticipated double elimination. After announcing saved pairs, the finals were Jackson and Emma, Tyler and Sharna, and Tatyana and Jan. The safe couple was Tatyana and Jan, while Tyler and Sharna and Jackson and Emma went home.
