Meghan Trainor Responds to Comments on Her Appearance
On Thursday, Meghan Trainor posted a video of herself doing the Nicki Minaj Challenge, which involves balancing on an object with one foot. Although it’s usually done while wearing stilettos, Trainor chose to do it with sneakers on, while balancing on weights.
The comments on Trainor’s TikTok video are full of people commenting on her changed appearance, with several users writing that they didn’t recognize her at first. One commenter wondered, “Where’d the bass go,” referring to Trainor’s popular body-positive song “All About That Bass.”
Trainor seemed to respond to the comments in another TikTok video, in which she can be seen lip-syncing to lyrics by Megan Thee Stallion: “I don’t care if these b*tches don’t like me. ‘Cause like I’m pretty as f*ck. Just the other day, I heard a ho say, matter of fact what could a ho say with a face like this and a b*tch this paid?”
In the clip, Trainor is wearing the same look she sported in her original video. She wrote in the caption, “Glam team really did that.” One user responded in the comments, “It’s not that we don’t like you, we just don’t recognize who you are!”

Trainor Has Been Open About Her Weight Loss
In March of this year, Meghan Trainor opened up about her weight loss journey in an Instagram post. After being honored at Billboard‘s Women in Music Awards, Trainor wrote that it was “a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here.”
“No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago. I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,” Trainor wrote. “I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”
According to People, Trainor later revealed that her husband Daryl Sabara had also been taking Mounjaro. The singer said she has “no shame” about using the GLP-1 medication to help her lose weight.
