A Type of Cancer Caused Musa Motha to Have His Leg Amputated

Hailing from South Africa, now residing in London, Musa took the BGT stage by storm. His captivating dance routine to Naughty Boy’s “Runnin'” moved both judges and viewers, drawing tears and admiration. His story resonated deeply as he transformed adversity into breathtaking performances.

The path to BGT wasn’t easy for Musa. At 11, he faced osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, leading to the amputation of his leg and the end of his dreams of becoming a professional footballer. Yet, he discovered solace and passion in music and dance, delving into street dancing in 2010.

Despite this major setback, Musa has since broken down barriers and won numerous awards for his uplifting performances. Musa believes that his appearance on AGT: Fantasy League is an ideal opportunity to connect with more people and inspire them.

With his raw talent and ability to connect emotionally with audiences, Musa could go far on AGT: Fantasy League. His journey of overcoming adversity to follow his passion is inspiring. If he brings the same level of artistry to his performances on the show, he may capture the hearts of viewers nationwide.

Musa is The Only Group Golden Buzzer Recipient on BGT

When Musa auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, he moved the judges and audience members to tears with his beautiful contemporary dance. He used crutches and told the inspiring story of how losing his leg as a child did not stop him from pursuing his passion for dance.

The judges were so moved that they gave Musa the first ever “Group Golden Buzzer,” meaning all four judges hit the Golden Buzzer together to send him straight to the semi-finals. During the semi-finals and finals, Musa continued to deliver emotional performances about overcoming adversity through the power of dance.

Even though he didn’t win the competition, Musa stated afterward that his only intention was to audition and let his voice be heard. Through his time on BGT, Musa was certainly able to share his uplifting message with the world.
