‘BGT’ Singer Tom Ball Releases Christmas Single “Winter Song” In Collaboration With Gary Barlow

Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball is gearing up to shake up the charts this Christmas with the release of his festive original single, “Winter Song.” Written by pop icon Gary Barlow and prolific songwriter Elliot Kennedy, “Winter Song” sees the teacher who is also a vocal powerhouse lend his smooth vocals to a romantic and nostalgic ode to the most wonderful time of the year.

From classroom to recording studio, Ball’s rollercoaster rise to fame shows no signs of slowing down. The 25-year-old is gearing up to battle the likes Mariah Carey and The Pogues for that coveted Christmas number one spot.
“There are some truly incredible Christmas songs that I adore, so to even be considered in the iconic race for Christmas number one feels totally surreal,” Ball said.
Despite only embarking on his music career a little over a year ago, Ball relishes the challenge of taking on the likes of Mariah Carey and The Pogues in the battle for the coveted Christmas chart top spot.
“‘Winter Song’ beautifully captures everything I love about Christmas, family, togetherness, cosy fires, and of course plenty of great food,” Ball said. “Recording such a gorgeous song written by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy has been a dream come true.”
The release of “Winter Song” comes hot on the heels of a whirlwind year for Ball, which has seen the former teacher catapulted from relative obscurity to rubbing shoulders with celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic.
Ball expressed his amazement at how auditioning for BGT led him to where he is now. He has also had the opportunity to perform on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars and Spain’s Got Talent: All-Stars.
What Tom Ball Plans For The Future of His Music Career
With his music career rapidly accelerating, Ball has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon. He is positively brimming with excitement for what the future may hold.
“I’d love to break into musical theatre too,” Ball said. “Maybe next year, watch this space!”
Wherever Ball’s next chapter takes him, he will continue honing his craft as a dynamic vocal performer. With the debut of his first full album slated for March 2024, fans can expect more stunning vocals and catchy tunes from this rising star.
“There’s certainly no chance I’ll be hanging up the microphone anytime soon,” Ball said. “Singing brings me so much joy and I feel I’ve only just scratched the surface of what I can achieve.”
