Last Night Was Another Epic Night Of ‘The Voice’ Battles
I knew that if last week was any indication, this week’s battle rounds on The Voice were going to melt my face off with awesomeness. They did not disappoint. This season is without a doubt the best in terms of sheer number of talented contestants. But who moved on and who was sent home by the coaches?
Addison Agen vs. Karli Webster
These talented singers from team Miley sang a slowed down version of Cindy Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Miley chose Karli but there was a double steal and Addison went to team Adam.
Brandon Brown vs. Jon Mero
These guys belted out The Temptations’ I Wish it Would Rain. Adam had a tough decision to make because both of them were awesome. But in the end Adam chose Jon.
Anthony Alexander vs. Michael Kight
Adorable duo Anthony and Michael took on The Weeknd Ft. Daft Punk’s I Feel it Coming. Adam had to look into those pretty eyes and send one of them home. He thought Michael was ready to go but Anthony needs shaping still. He chose Anthony.
Janice Freeman vs. Katrina Rose
Soulful, sexy, and sultry is all I can say. Janice and Katrina sang Etta James’ W.O.M.A.N like no one I’ve ever heard since Etta herself. Miley had to decide between the two but one person clearly had the advantage. That was Janice. Luckily, Jennifer stole Katrina.
Red Marlow vs. Ryan Scripps
Good ‘ol boys Red and Ryan killed the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s Fishin’ in the Dark. It took me right back to the South, in a good way. Blake had to choose between these two Southern belles. Blake picked Red, which it totally the right decision.
Shi’Ann Jones vs. Stephan Marcellus
Shi-Ann and Stephan sang The Beatles’ Oh Darling. Matching Paul McCartney is no easy feet. But in my mind, as well as Jennifer’s, there was a clear choice: Shi-ann. Miley stole Stephan, so it’s all good.
Anna Catherine vs. Kristi, Alexandra vs. Jeremiah, Emily vs. Gary
Anna Catherine was chosen by Blake after they sang Independence Day. Jen picked Jeremiah after his killer rendition of One Call Away. Finally, there was Emily and Gary’s Send My Love which resulted in Adam picking Emily.
