Former The Voice coach Kelsea Ballerini and Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes are reportedly back together, around two months after news of their split was reported in September. According to a source, there is “still a lot of love” between the two stars.

In September, news broke that Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes had broken up after almost three years together. Fans speculated about the possible reason for the couple’s split, with some wondering if Stokes had rekindled his romance with ex-girlfriend Madelyn Cline.
Now, less than two months after news of the split broke, Ballerini and Stokes are reportedly back together. Multiple sources shared the news with Us Weekly, with one saying, “Kelsea and Chase are giving their relationship another try.”
“There’s still a lot of love there, so they fell back into it very naturally,” the source added. The couple might have actually gotten back together at least a month ago, as they were apparently spotted together in October near Edinburgh Castle in Scotland.
A witness who apparently saw Ballerini and Stokes on October 13 told Us Weekly that they “seemed really happy and smiley,” adding that the two stars were “very much loved-up and holding hands at the bar.”

The Pair Hasn’t Commented on Their Relationship Status
Neither Ballerini nor Stokes has commented publicly on their reported reconciliation. Their split came as a surprise to fans in September, as Stokes had recently posted a birthday tribute to Ballerini on Instagram, writing that he was “lookin forward to more of this” and calling the singer “my love.”
The couple first sparked dating rumors in January 2023, just two months after Ballerini finalized her divorce from fellow country singer Morgan Evans. At the time of their reported split in September, a source told Us Weekly that the couple “had been arguing a lot recently.”
Ballerini’s rep confirmed the breakup to People, saying of her and Stokes, “They’re two adults who gave it their all and tried to do everything they could to make it work, but ultimately couldn’t. It happens.”
