Kelly Clarkson Granted Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker

Global pop star Kelly Clarkson has been granted a temporary restraining order after a suspected trespasser repeatedly showed up to her home. The intruder is said to have been dropping off unwanted gifts for months, causing Clarkson to feel alarmed.
Los Angeles Court Grants Kelly Clarkson’s Request for Temporary Restraining Order
Days after filing the report, the court has finally granted Clarkson’s request for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO). The “Breakaway” singer asked for help particularly from the Los Angeles Police Department to prevent Huguette Nicole Young from coming to her Toluca Lake home.
Young is a 56-year-old woman who has repeatedly been appearing around Clarkson’s property since late October. The pop star’s security team reported that Young has left multiple items such as dog toys, stickers, plants, notes and seeds on Clarkson’s porch.
“On or about October 26, 2022, I became aware of an individual who had left 11 certain items and a note, presumably for Ms. Brianne, at the front gate of Ms. Brianne’s home,” said Michael Lopez, Clarkson’s personal security.
Due to this deviating behavior, the former The Voice coach requested protection for her family, nanny and house manager. Obtained documents state that Clarkson is asking a judge to keep Young “at least a football field away from her home, job, and children’s school.”
Furthermore, the same paperwork reports that a security guard already confronted Young about her trespassing. Nonetheless, she continued to return to the mansion several times. With the authorized TRO as assurance, Clarkson and her family expect that similar circumstances would not occur in the future.
The Kelly Clarkson Show Recently Aired “Work From Home” Week
It appears that the trespassing dispute is not the only issue bothering the singer. Since the beginning of December, Clarkson has been hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show from a far. Although this show is pre-recorded, the singer got candid, admitting that she was sick at the time.
During the show’s December 8 installment, Clarkson interviewed Christina Applegate through Zoom. Evidently, the singer has been taking enough time to rest, as seen in her no makeup appearance in that episode.
Although viewers are not used to the virtual setup, they are more concerned over Clarkson’s health. On social media, fans intimated their well wishes to the pop star. Nonetheless, fans have nothing to fear, since the show is pre-recorded.
