Fans Can Expect Kelly Clarkson’s Divorce Album To Be Dance-Worthy

Kelly Clarkson’s next album may be centered around her divorce, but that won’t stop you from dancing to it. In a resurfaced video clip from The Kelly Clarkson Show, the global pop star teased her upcoming album. This exciting clip has made fans excited for what’s on the rise.
Kelly Clarkson’s New Studio Album Contains Dance Songs
Excluding her holiday album When Christmas Comes Around, the last time that Clarkson released a studio album was in 2017. Finally, after more than five years, she will put out new discography, which is anticipated in 2023.
The Kelly Clarkson Show’s Instagram recently uploaded a clip from a September episode. The clip features comedian Guy Branum. In that clip, Branum thanked Clarkson for her music.
“Thank you so much for how much you have taken care of me on dance floors,” he said. “So many times in my life, when I have needed you, you showed up.”
The talk show host then responded, “Well you’re gonna love the next album.”
Not long after this clip was posted, thrill and excitement can already be felt in the comments. Clearly, fans cannot wait to hear her new music as such will be considered her “new era.”
Her Divorce Album was Two Years in The Making
Clarkson’s divorce album will be released by her current label, Atlantic Records. Apparently, she has been working on this album for two years, simultaneous with her therapy. Clarkson’s creative process for this album consisted of making a 25 songs within a week.
“A lot of those are the ones that are on the album,” she told Variety. “I literally wrote most of these almost two years ago. Then I told my label, ‘I can’t talk about this until I’ve gone through it,’ and it’s just taken some time to do that.”
While nothing is final yet, Clarkson also teased the possibility of a tour. This can only happen if she’ll be able to free herself from her other commitments, like her talk show and The Voice.
According to Clarkson, she’s already through the divorce, but other guys and girls might still be experiencing it. With that, she intends to comfort then through her music.
