Kelly Clarkson Dances For Charity — And Challenges The ‘Voice’ Coaches To Join Her
Want to watch Kelly Clarkson dance? Well, you’re in luck, because the singer posted a video this week featuring exactly that. It’s part of a campaign called Dance or Donate, which benefits United Cancer Front.
The campaign challenges people to post videos of themselves dancing for 15 seconds, or to donate at least $10 to United Cancer Front. Users are then supposed to challenge three of their friends to do the same.
Kelly Dances For Charity
Kelly was challenged to participate by activist Lilly Tartikoff, and she chose to both dance and donate, because she knows what the people want — and that’s dancing Kelly Clarkson.
Kelly’s dancing is just as entertaining as she is. She tries out various moves, including the Sprinkler (“I’m just watering the world with my love”) and even the Beyoncé “Single Ladies” hair flip.
“Are we done?” she asks at one point, before commenting that the challenge is “like aerobics.” She goes into the Running Man just before the video cuts off. It’s truly a tour de force of cheesy dance moves, and we’re forever grateful. Let’s hope we see more of this when her talk show premieres this September.
Kelly Challenges Her Fellow Voice Coaches
It should come as no surprise that the three friends Kelly chose to challenge are her fellow coaches on The Voice. If you need a refresher, that’s John Legend, Blake Shelton, and returning coach Gwen Stefani.
As of this writing, none of the coaches have posted their responses yet. Maybe Blake and Gwen will record a video of themselves dancing together, to give us a taste of their chemistry before the show returns September 23. And if John Legend’s video features a cameo from wife Chrissy Teigen (or if he challenges her), our lives will be complete.
