Ruby Rose Accuses Katy Perry of Sexual Assault

According to People, Australian model and actress Ruby Rose accused singer Katy Perry of sexual assault in a series of Threads posts on Sunday. Rose alleges that she was in her early 20s when the incident happened at an Australian nightclub.

Rose posted that Perry “saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomitted on her.”

The actress wrote that it “has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly,” adding that “it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes.” Rose initially posted that she was “not interested in filing a report over this” and that Perry is “more than welcome to sue me.”

She added that she apparently has photo evidence of the assault, adding that it was “witnessed by multiple people.” On Tuesday, Rose updated fans that she had filed a police report over several incidents she allegedly experienced, and she was therefore “no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved.”
