The Jonas Brothers released their new single “Wings” on Friday, ahead of their sixth studio album, which is titled simply The Album. The group also announced five upcoming performances on Broadway themed to their past albums.
The Jonas Brothers Release New Song ‘Wings’
The Jonas Brothers teased the release date for “Wings” earlier this month, and the song was finally released on Friday. Fans might be surprised by how short the track is, clocking in at just under two minutes.
“You are the one, the sun, the light of day / You are the wings I need to fly away,” the group sings on the new single. The track starts slow before picking up the tempo. The song comes with a lyric video in which the three brothers can be seen taking a road trip.
The group also recently previewed songs from the new album during a FlyOver Las Vegas experience for fans. Other songs that have been teased from the album include “Montana Sky,” “Vacation Eyes,” and “Waffle House.”
On Friday, the group took to Instagram to announce that they’ll be playing five shows at the Marquis Theatre on Broadway next month. Each of the dates will be themed to one of their past albums, as the brothers teased they’ll “be playing all the hits.”
In order to get tickets for the upcoming shows, which will take place March 14 to 18, you’ll need a Verified Fan code. Fans can register now through Sunday by visiting the Jonas Brothers website. Ticketmaster stresses that Verified Fan registration does not guarantee a ticket.
