Last month, Heat World reported that, according to a source, Perry and Trudeau were “talking about having a child together.” Both of them are already parents, as Perry shares a daughter named Daisy with her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, and Trudeau has three kids with his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire.
“Katy’s made no secret of wanting at least one other child and Justin’s the perfect fit for where she’s at in life right now,” the source said. “She doesn’t have time to waste – she’s in her forties now and she’s not interested in playing the field. It’s moving fast, but she’s happy with that – as is he.”
Meanwhile, Radar Online recently claimed that Perry was ready to elope with Trudeau, but her friends are “worried that she’s moving too fast.” As an insider said, “She was with Orlando Bloom for nearly a decade, and she went straight from their breakup to dating Justin without missing a beat – and suddenly he’s her whole world.”
The source went on to say that Perry “doesn’t want to hear any of that” about her new romance, adding, “She keeps saying she’s never been happier and that this feels easy in a way that things with Orlando never did.”

How Long Has the Pair Been Dating?
In July of last year, Perry and Bloom confirmed their split. Not long after that, Perry and Trudeau were spotted having dinner together in Montreal, where Perry was performing her Lifetimes Tour. A few months later, paparazzi photos were published of the pair embracing on Perry’s yacht.
In October, Perry confirmed that she was dating someone during a concert in Prague. The pair went Instagram official in December, and have since appeared together in public. Last month, it was reported that Perry and Trudeau were interested in doing business together.
