John Legend’s Kids Dance Along To His Music In Adorable Video
The Voice coach John Legend shared the cutest video of his kids’ Luna and Miles on Wednesday. If you’re wondering whether John ever plays his music in the house, the answer is yes. And the kids had the best response.
John posted the sweet video on his social media accounts. In it, he performs his song “Conversations in the Dark” on the piano.
John Legend’s Kids Dance To His Music
John’s awards, including his Grammys, can be seen on the shelf behind the piano. As he performs, 3-year-old Luna and 1-year-old Miles show off what John described on Instagram as an “interpretive dance.”
He called them “America’s most inexperienced dance troupe,” but they also happen to be the cutest. Luna wears a pink bow and matching rain boots, while Miles rolls his toy car across the floor and spins. At one point, he falls over but picks himself back up.
John Legend released the song “Conversations in the Dark” in January of this year. The Voice coach performed it during an appearance on the NBC series This Is Us.
What Do John’s Kids Think Of His Singing?
Luna and Miles clearly enjoyed John’s at-home performance enough to dance along to it, but they’ve been more critical in the past. As E! News reports, Luna once told her dad that Ariana Grande was a better singer than him.
This was after John recorded a duet of “Beauty and the Beast” with Ariana. “Eventually she became such a big fan of Ariana that she’s, like, unfavorably comparing me to Ariana Grande,” John said.
The kids had a similarly unimpressed reaction to John’s Sexiest Man Alive title last year. They can’t let their dad get a big head, after all.
