Jimmie Allen is set to perform during the grand finale of the 133rd Rose Parade. The annual event will take place in Pasadena, California with Allen scheduled to perform his hit song “Good Times Roll” from his Bettie James Gold Edition album.
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant will be accompanied by his four-piece band. “Good Times Roll” hit the charts during the Summer of 2020 and hit No. 1 on the itunes charts. The song originally features Nelly, but there is no word whether the star will join Allen during the Rose Parade.
The annual parade was created to mark the start of the Rose Bowl Game. The Rose Parade begins at 8 a.m. PST on January 1. Onlookers are excited to experience the American tradition as it travels over five miles.

This year’s parade theme of dream, believe, and achieve will help Allen celebrate education’s ability to open doors, open minds, and change lives. Education is a big part of Allen’s life. The father of three recently said that his Kindergarten teacher was a huge inspiration for him.
Allen even recruited his former teacher to be the voice behind the audible version of his children’s book, My Voice is a Trumpet. His new book has been a way to help young kids know that their voices matter.
Leann Rimes will open the Rose Parade this year performing “Throw My Arms Around the World,” which is a song made specifically for this year’s parade. American Idol winner Laine Hardy will also perform with the New Orleans jazz band, Hot 8 Brass. Together they will perform “Born on the Bayou.”
