Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg Sign Unscripted TV Deal

The Masked Singer judge Jenny McCarthy and her husband Donnie Wahlberg have signed a three-year first-look unscripted TV deal with Lionsgate Television. The couple has formed a company called Work Baby Productions.

According to Variety, the deal will allow the couple to produce reality projects, documentaries, and even non-fiction podcasts through their company. Lionsgate company Pilgrim Media will reportedly provide developmental support.
“Our focus as a couple, and as partners, is to bring light to projects that we are passionate about,” the couple said in a statement. “Our new partners at Pilgrim and Lionsgate share that passion, and we are so excited to work with them to make these dreams reality.”
Craig Piligian, president of Lionsgate Nonfiction Television and Pilgrim CEO and chair, said that McCarthy and Wahlberg “are a perfect fit for Lionsgate and our commitment to creating leading unscripted television programming.”
Piligian added, “We know they will be excellent partners, and we look forward to helping them build a diverse and hugely successful slate of programs.”

The Couple Recently Celebrated Their Anniversary
McCarthy and Wahlberg recently celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary. To mark the milestone, the couple renewed their vows.
“Every year you surprise me with our vows and every year I fall deeper into the rabbit hole of love with you,” McCarthy wrote on Instagram.
The actress called Wahlberg her “best friend, lover and soulmate,” and “the #GOAT of all husbands.” Wahlberg commented, “I love you so much.” He added a heart emoji to the message.
In Season 5 of The Masked Singer, McCarthy was shocked to discover that her husband was the celebrity under the Cluedle-Doo costume. Somehow, the judge wasn’t able to figure it out before the reveal, even after the New Kids on the Block singer performed.
McCarthy returns to The Masked Singer for Season 8 on Wednesday, September 21, at 8/7c on FOX.
