Donnie Wahlberg Calls Out Jenny McCarthy’s Singing Skills on Twitter

The Masked Singer Cluedle-Doo Donnie Wahlberg is calling out his wife, Jenny McCarthy. During Group B’s Season 6 finals, McCarthy answered fellow panelist Ken Jeong’s challenge to sing. After “Wowing” the crowd with her voice, McCarthy’s husband confirmed that the voice that came out of her was not her actual singing voice.
“Dear @MaskedSingerFOX, I will confirm that @JennyMcCarthy can’t really sing like this, but she can probably sing better than @kenjeong (barely). I won’t confirm if it’s @carrieunderwood wearing a @JennyMcCarthy mask or if @JennyMcCarthy’s miming @carrieunderwood’s voice,” Wahlberg Tweeted.
While waiting to discuss the results between Banana Split and The Queen of Hearts during the show, the panelists and host Nick Cannon became playful.
“How about those duets”? Cannon asked the audience and the panelist. Referring to Robin Thicke’s duet with Banana Split and Nicole Scherzinger duet with The Queen Of Hearts.
“So impressed, of course they asked me to sing” Jeong joked. “I politely declined. I did not want to upstage a singing banana. Also, I did not want to exclude Jenny, because you can’t sing.”
The audience erupted with laughter and the other panelist playfully instigated. We all know that McCarthy is not one to back down after being called out.
Jenny McCarthy Can Sing?
In response to Jeong’s challenge, McCarthy pulls out her “Blingy microphone.” She belts out a Christina Aguilera-style note. The crowd and the panelists go wild, but the judge is clearly lip-synching.
“I can see your voice, and it is definitely not yours,” Jeong didn’t back down.
We all know a husband is supposed to stick by his wife. I think the classic line says “Til death do us part.” McCarthy’s husband, Wahlberg may need a reminder. Fans will remember Wahlberg as the Cluedle – Doo from Season 5.
When The Masked Singer Twitter account gave McCarthy a shoutout for her “talent” Wahlberg confirmed with the world that the voice we heard was not hers. But, to show support, he did say her natural singing voice is probably better than Jeong’s.
Still no response from McCarthy, but I am sure she won’t take her husband’s betrayal lying down. Tune in this Wednesday for the season finale of The Masked Singer and to find out what punishment McCarthy has in store for her famous hubby.
