Jamie Lynn Spears Opens Up About Her Relationship with Sister Britney

During a recent episode of the UK reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Jamie Lynn Spears opened up about her relationship with her older sister, pop star Britney Spears. Jamie Lynn said they both had a “very complicated upbringing.”
Jamie Lynn Spears Opens Up About Relationship with Britney
While opening up to her competitors on I’m a Celebrity, Jamie Lynn said she’s the “one person” in Britney’s life who has “never taken anything from her.” She explained that they grew up in “very complicated circumstances.”
“And sometimes we took it out on each other when perhaps we shouldn’t have,” Jamie Lynn said. “We just had a really weird life so we can’t explain it to many people, but at the end of the road, I know that that’s my family. I love them.”
Jamie Lynn said she thought her sister would “be worried about me out here,” adding, “I think she’s probably checking in on me heavily. I do think she’s probably like, ‘Why would she do that?'”
According to Us Weekly, Jamie Lynn said in a previous episode that she and Britney had talked since the release of her memoir. She said, “I think every family fights and has their stuff. But I talked to her before I came here and we love each other.”

She Joined the Show After Her DWTS Elimination
I’m a Celebrity is not the first reality show Jamie Lynn has competed on this year. She was recently a contestant on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, paired with professional partner Alan Bersten. The pair was eliminated in the second episode.
After her elimination, Jamie Lynn took to Instagram to describe her time on the show as “an amazing experience,” thanking fans for “the tremendous amount love and support.” She said she was “excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week.”
Jamie Lynn’s involvement in Season 23 of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! was announced earlier this month, shortly before the premiere. The show features several celebrities surviving in Australia.
