There’s no getting around it, Dancing With the Stars fans are pretty upset over Ciara Miller’s elimination during Mariah Carey night. Ciara’s shocking elimination clearly hasn’t sat right with many, since they’re convinced Jackson should’ve gone home instead.
DWTS Fans Think Jackson Should’ve Been Eliminated
Since Summer House‘s Ciara Miller was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars, fans have taken to social media to share their opinions on the elimination. TikToker Stephwithdadeets shared a now viral video, explaining that Jackson “should have been the one sent home.”
The creators reasoning was based on the network’s multiple commercials about the Banana Bowl, which was a big event on October 10, on ABC. In case you didn’t know, Jackson Olson is one of the biggest names in the Banana Ball league.
“So, of course, he’s not going to get eliminated before the Banana Bowl,” the TikToker wrote. “Remember the drama where Jackson had left a comment that some fans found shady towards Guillermo? That was the same day that he and Emma were actually rehearsing for the Banana Bowl.”
She then reminded viewers that many wanted Jackson eliminated due to his comments about Guillermo. The TikToker then discussed the odds based on the Kalshi polls (which are not always accurate).
“I took this screenshot October 3rd.,Jackson Olson was at a 52% chance of leaving. He was at the top of the board to be eliminated. Yes, Ciara was in there, but she was only at 20%,” Stephwithdadeets said. “So October 6th was the Dancing with the Stars episode, the boards remained like this. But it did change after Ciara danced. After Ciara’s dance, she moved out of the bottom three. She went from a 20% to a 5% chance of leaving. And Tyler went to 45%, Jackson was at 37%, Guillermo at 12%.”

Somehow, the actual bottom three of the night was Ciara and Brandon, Guillermo and Witney, and Jackson and Emma. It was no surprise that Guillermo and Witney went through, since the Jimmy Kimmel Live! star has a vast fanbase.
Jackson Poked Fun at Guillermo, Then Apologized
In case you missed it, fans were quick to add Jackson Olson to their “DTM” lists this past week. Last weekend, Loco Beach Coconuts player Erik Ostberg made a video spoofing DWTS Season 35 contestant Guillermo Rodriguez’s recent performance, in which he ripped off his shirt to reveal a coconut bra and the words, “DANCING 4 THE PEOPLE.”
In a since-deleted comment on the video, OIson reportedly wrote, “But seriously how did you do this better than him with 2 hours of rehearsal.” This angered some fans, one of whom apparently wrote, “This behavior is disgusting. Goodbye Jackson. No respect for your castmates.”
Ahead of Tuesday night’s episode, Jackson penned a public apology to Guillermo, writing “To G and to all of you, from the bottom of my heart I am so sorry about my comment I made the other day and that it caused this much negativity,” Olson wrote. After Tuesday night’s episode, Guillermo confirmed that there’s no bad blood between he and Jackson.

“We’re friends,” Guillermo said to TV Insider. “We’re competing against each other, but we’re friends. We’re having fun. He’s a good guy.”
