An AI-generated image of America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell is going viral online, claiming he found “the fountain of youth.” Fans had plenty to say about the fake photo.
AI-Generated Image of Simon Cowell Goes Viral
Over the weekend, a fan on the AGT subreddit posted a screenshot of an AI-generated image of Simon Cowell, writing, “This fake image is going viral everywhere.” The image appears to have aged Cowell, while simultaneously claiming he “looks ageless.”
An Instagram post featuring the image has gotten fans talking in the comments. One user joked, “Actually he is aging faster, he has found the font of oldness.” Someone else wondered, “Does ‘ageless’ mean something different now?”
“May that fountain of youth never find me,” wrote another fan, while someone else joked that “the fountain is contaminated.” Another user wondered, “Is the youth in the room with all of us?”
One commenter speculated that the post was intended to be “rage bait,” and it appears to have done its job. Ironically, the Instagram post is marked to contain “AI content,” despite the implication that it’s an actual photo of Cowell.

Cowell Is Recovering from Surgery
Simon Cowell may not have found the fountain of youth, but he has been getting plenty of rest recently. The music mogul is recovering from back surgery, which has caused him to miss several shows on both AGT and BGT.
Cowell was absent for the live shows of AGT Season 21, with guest judges such as Kenan Thompson, Heidi Klum, and KSI filling in for him. It was also recently reported that Cowell will miss tapings for the Britain’s Got Talent Series 20 auditions.
According to a recent report, Cowell will be replaced on the BGT panel by English TV presenter Bradley Walsh. As of this writing, Walsh’s involvement in the new season has not been officially announced.
