Will Arnett on 'LEGO Masters'

The reality competition show Lego Masters premiered on FOX in 2020. If you haven’t been keeping up with news about the show, you might be wondering if it’s still on the air. The answer is yes, although a big change was announced ahead of the new episodes.

Is Lego Masters Canceled or Returning for Season 6?

In May 2025, Season 5 of Lego Masters premiered on FOX, with teammates Ian and Sage being named the winners in the July finale. This marked the first new season of the show since 2023.

Also in May, it was announced that Lego Masters had been renewed for Season 6 on FOX, expected to air in the 2025-2026 season. The show taped auditions at Legoland California Resort in June.

Will Arnett hosted the first five seasons of the show, with Lego’s Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard serving as judges, or “Brickmasters.” Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, Arnett is unable to host Season 6.

In Arnett’s place, Nick Cannon has been announced as the show’s new host. Cannon is also the longtime host of another FOX reality competition series, The Masked Singer. He revealed his involvement with the show in a June Instagram post.

What Do Fans Think About the Change?

Lego Masters fans made their opinion about the host change clear in the comments of Nick Cannon’s announcement post. Many of them expressed disappointment that Cannon is replacing Arnett as the show’s host.

“Will Arnett is PERFECT for Legomasters! I won’t watch it with Nick Cannon,” wrote one fan, while another complained, “Will Arnett is a HUGE reason why I watch the show and it won’t be the same without him. Also… Nick Cannon?! Really?! HARD pass, no thanks.”

However, another Instagram user commented that they “will continue to watch” and “will wait to have an opinion regarding the new host until I see what Nick can do.”

What do you think? Are you excited to watch Season 6 of Lego Masters? Is Nick Cannon a good match for the show? Let us know on X!
