On July 29, it was announced that the X Factor in UK has been officially canceled. This is disappointing news for X Factor fans, but the show has fallen flat in the past few years. No need to fear for this mogul’s career though, he has already announced a musical new show.
Simon Cowell Announces Walk The Line
This show will be a multi-part series where musical acts will perform for the audience, and panel of judges. The top two performers of the evening will get to choose to “Walk The Line” and continue playing, or go home with a cash prize. The longer contestants stay in the competition, the bigger the prize they recieve.
It’s really such an original idea for a musical show! It’s like American Idol meets Deal or No Deal. This show not only takes musical talent, but it would also take strategy. I can’t wait to see “Walk The Line” when it premieres.
