A Deeper Look At Gwen Stefani’s Sparkling Engagement Ring

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are finally engaged and we all have our eyes on that stunning ring. In the picture posted by both Blake and Gwen on social media, you really do have to squint to see all of the details of the ring. But luckily, we now know more about that gorgeous sparkler.
Blake Shelton Gave Gwen Stefani A Stunning Engagement Ring
Gwen’s ring was actually custom designed. We wouldn’t expect anything less from Blake who has been madly in love with her for all five years of their relationship. According to Kathryn Money from Brilliant Earth, the ring is a classic, six-prong setting with a 6-carat solitaire diamond set in a white gold or platinum band.
Katie Zimmerman of Blue Chief Nile further commented on the ring saying it’s either a round or oval cut. “While round cuts are most popular (and most expensive due to high demand), we’ve watched fancy shapes such as oval become more and more sought after, especially with style icons Blake Lively and Hailey Bieber rocking ovals on their ring fingers,” she said. All estimates seem to point towards the ring costing close to $800,000.
It is definitely hard to get a full glimpse of Gwen’s ring from the picture she posted.
This proposal was definitely a long time coming for both Blake and Gwen. The pair met on the set of The Voice in 2014 and went public with their relationship in 2015. How Did Blake Propose?
Of course, another question on everyone’s minds is how Blake proposed to Gwen. The pair definitely shocked the world when they announced their engagement on social media and did not seize the opportunity to have a televised proposal on The Voice. “The engagement happened at the chapel Blake built for Gwen on the grounds of their Oklahoma home,” an insider close to Blake told In Touch.
“He originally built the chapel for Gwen because she is a very devout Catholic and he wanted to make her feel comfortable with her transition from LA to Oklahoma. Her faith is incredibly important to her and Blake knows that” a source told Hollywood Life.
“So, he felt that [the chapel] was the perfect place to propose because it has so much meaning to the both of them,” the source continued. “Gwen loves the chapel so much and she even has a necklace with a charm of the chapel that she wears often.”
The pair also recently purchased a home together in Encino, California.
