Gwen Stefani Surprises Blake Shelton at ‘The Voice’ Wrap Party

Gwen Stefani wasn’t able to attend Tuesday night’s season finale of The Voice, but she ended up surprising her husband Blake Shelton at the show’s wrap party later in the evening. Shelton is leaving the show after 23 seasons as a coach.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Stefani wasn’t able to attend the live taping of The Voice finale on Tuesday night because she had another commitment out of town. However, she did appear during a prerecorded segment about her and Shelton’s love story on the show.
Stefani reportedly also made it to the after-party to celebrate Shelton. The outlet posted an image of the couple sharing a smooch at the event. They apparently took the dance floor together around midnight, as the DJ played No Doubt’s “Just a Girl.”
On Monday night, Stefani treated Shelton to a celebratory dinner with friends, including The Voice host Carson Daly. Stefani shared a video about the surprise on Instagram, joking that Shelton “thinks that I’m having some big party for him tomorrow and I’m not.”

Stefani Reflected on Her Romance with Shelton
During Tuesday’s The Voice finale, Stefani appeared in a prerecorded segment reflecting on her relationship with Shelton, whom she met on the show. The pair dated for several years before tying the knot in 2021.
“Who would have thought this Orange County girl and this country guy from Oklahoma would find each other on the set of The Voice?” Stefani said. “To find my soulmate… it’s hard for me to even talk about it without getting super emotional.”
Although Shelton’s time as a coach is over, Stefani will be returning to The Voice for her seventh season in the fall, alongside returning coaches John Legend and Niall Horan, as well as new coach Reba McEntire.
