‘The Voice’ Crowns Gina Miles As Season 23 Winner

After an hour long recap special, The Voice returned to NBC with an exciting finale. The show’s Top 5 performed their best in Monday night’s episode, and America has voted. Tonight is all about celebrating Blake Shelton, as well as crowning the new winner.
Since this episode was celebrating Shelton’s final on the series, there was a stellar lineup of guests. Performers included Maroon 5, Ceelo Green, Diplo and Lily Rose, Toosii, and the U.S. Army Field Band. In addition, special guests Camila Cabello, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, John Legend, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Pharrell Williams Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton will appear on the episode to commemorate Blake Shelton’s last season.
The Voice Celebrates Blake Shelton’s 12 Year Run
This evening’s show began with a pre-recorded segment of Shelton walking out of his dressing room, and high fiving fans leading all the way to the stage. Once on stage, Adam Levine greeted Shelton by giving him a hug. If you’ve been watching this show for a while, this moment truly made you get in your feels.
Then, Ceelo Green took the stage to perform an ’80’s medley for Shelton. For those who may have missed it, Green and Levine’s involvement is truly a throwback, since they were the original coaches alongside Shelton. Unfortunately, the third original coach, Christina Aguilera, was not one of the special guests on tonight’s episode.

Later, there was a compilation of Shelton and Gwen Stefani‘s cutest moment on the series. This included an old video of the two meeting on set for the first time.
Later, a jean jacket listing Shelton’s winning seasons was propelled into the rafters of the sound stage. In addition, they revealed that Stefani got Shelton’s red chair shipped to their home, so he could always have it. The show veteran joked about it, saying he finally won something from the show.
Near the end of the episode, all former popular Team Blake members came to the stage singing “Time Of Your Life” by Green Day. The incredible line up included Cassadee Pope, Jermaine Paul, Sundance Head, Todd Tilghman, and more!
Who Won The Voice Season 23?
Aside from all of the celebratory acts, each Top 5 member took the stage with their respective coach, ahead of the final winner announcement. Some of the best performances were Kelly Clarkson and D.Smooth, NOIVAS and Shelton, and Chance The Rapper with Sorelle.
At the end of the night, the Top 5 singers were lined up on the stage for the final elimination. Finishing in fifth place is NOIVAS, fourth place is Sorelle, and in third is D.Smooth. The newest winner of The Voice is Gina Miles. Team Blake member Grace West finished in second place. This season’s winner and runner up also won a Universal Theme Park vacation.

The Voice is set to return this fall, in it’s Monday night 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot. Season 24’s coaches include Niall Horan, John Legend, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani. Next season
