American Idol fans who are disappointed that Grace Kinstler didn’t win the show have something to look forward to this week. The singer was voted as the Encore winner on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
Chayce Beckham was declared the official winner of American Idol on Sunday, but it’s nice to see another finalist getting a chance to shine thanks to viewers’ votes.
Grace Kinstler is the ‘American Idol’ Encore Winner
Following Sunday’s announcement of the American Idol Season 19 winner, fans were able to vote for which eliminated finalist they wanted to see deliver an encore performance on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Voting closed on Tuesday, and host Kelly Ripa announced Grace as the winner on Wednesday with her husband and guest-host Mark Consuelos.
The 20-year-old singer came in third place during Season 19. During the competition, she performed such songs as “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2, as well as “All By Myself” by Celine Dion. She also released an original single called “Love Someone.”
Grace showed off a powerhouse voice and a strong stage presence during her time on American Idol. We’re excited to watch another TV performance from her. She’ll appear on Live with Kelly and Ryan this Friday morning on ABC.

Watch Grace Perform on ‘Live’ This Friday
Grace posted the news on her Instagram Stories Wednesday morning. She wrote that she was “so excited” to perform for her fans on Friday, adding, “Thank you so much for voting.”
Last season, the Encore winner was Julia Gargano. The year before that, it was Madison VanDenburg. We’re noticing a pattern here — it seems like Live with Kelly and Ryan viewers have an appreciation for American Idol‘s talented female vocalists.
We can’t wait to see what Grace sings in Friday’s performance. In the meantime, follow her Instagram for updates.
