After two years of success with The Masked Singer in the UK, ITV will now air The Masked Dancer as a separate spin-off show. Here’s your first look at all the costumes and the judging panel we can expect for the first season!
ITV Reveals First Look at The Masked Dancer UK
The rumors are true. The Masked Dancer will air it’s own version in the UK this year. After two seasons of The Masked Singer on ITV, the channel’s executives are excited to bring a new spin-off of a similar format after success in the US.
Twelve hidden celebrities will appear on the show, dressed in all new costumes, designed to mask the hidden dancer. The costumes set to feature on the big stage includes a squirrel, a rubber chicken, a flamingo, and a carwash plus many more.
Each dancer will perform several different dancing styles from salsa to hip-hop. As always, it’s the job of the judging panel and viewers to help gather clues before each of the celebrities are unmasked.

Who are the Judges?
With a new season, comes a routine shakeup of the judging panel. Joining Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan is new judge, Oti Mabuse.
Mabuse is known to viewers in the UK for her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing and Let’s Dance.
“I’m so thrilled and honored to be joining the panel on The Masked Dancer,” Mabuse said when speaking on her upcoming appearance.
“I’m a huge fan of The Masked Singer and I loved the US Masked Dancer so I just can’t wait to start on this show. As a dancer I will be watching the dancers intently looking for clues – it’s going to be so much fun!!!”
In addition, Joel Dommett will also return as host to the ‘Masked’ series.
Jonathan Ross has also spoken on his judging role on The Masked Dancer, calling himself a dance ‘expert’ ahead of the show’s launch.
“What people don’t know is that secretly I am an expert in dance and can spot a ball change from a box step no problem. The title of best detective on the panel is most certainly coming my way!,” Ross said.
