South Korean boyband GOT7 just released their music video for the song “Breath” and it’s already proving to be a great success. But fans of the group are questioning why Twitter is saying that group member Winwin has had a lack of screen time in the group’s latest music video. When in fact, Winwin is not a member of GOT7, but a member of South Korean boy group NCT.

Twitter Incorrectly Mixed-Up Members Of GOT7 And NCT

The song “Breath” has already passed 120,000 streams on Genie and has risen up to #7 on the US iTunes Song Chart surpassing 1,000 sales. This is actually GOT7’s highest peak ever on this chart. The music video for “Breath” already has over 3.2 million views. And the comments on the YouTube video are very positive.

However, with this music video coming out, Twitter simply got confused. Winwin is trending and the reasoning that Twitter provided is that “some fans think Winwin should have been given more exposure in GOT7’s video for ’90s Love.'” This is actually a song by NCT that also came out today, the group that he is actually a member of.

Fans Are Calling Out Twitter To Fix Their Error

While it is true that Winwin did not get much screentime in the “90s Love” video, fans are calling for Twitter to fix the blunder out of respect for both boybands. The groups and music videos follow two completely different styles. GOT7’s music video for “Breath” has more of a romantic love story meaning while NCT’s music video for “90s Love” is a more upbeat hockey-themed video.

Not to mention, NCT member Haechan’s name was also trending and according to Twitter, he is a member of GOT7 which is simply incorrect.

Other fans called out Twitter to get their facts right.

GOT7 Fans Want Winwin To Have More Screetime

Even with Twitter’s error aside, fans of NCT just want to see more of Winwin. They even mapped out the screen time from the music video and it is clear that he had the least of it.

Fans continued to tweet their frustrations as they await a chance for their favorite group members to shine in future music videos.

“It really hurts to see Winwin, someone that is so hardworking, talented and gives his 100% to everything. He worked so hard and slept for only 3-4 hours a day, just to have lesser screen time than the freaking dinosaur (I don’t hate the dino)and only a few second lines?” one person wrote on Twitter.

“Nah I can’t believe sm just robbed both Winwin and Yangyang of opportunities where they could’ve shown their full potential as a main rapper/lead rapper/singer. Don’t shut Yunqis and Yangqis off bc we are genuinely hurt since Wayv has been getting the most mistreatment in all this” wrote another fan of NCT.

It’s clear that fans just want two things, for boybands to be correctly recognized by Twitter, and justice for Winwin after he got a lack of screen time in “90s Love.”
