Watching shows and movies on Netflix has been a popular way for people to spend their time during this worldwide coronavirus outbreak. One show in particular called My Secret Terrius which was originally released in 2018 has a storyline that mirrors the effects of coronavirus and it’s the ability to impact mortality. This Korean series has recently gotten a lot of buzz on social media from people who cannot believe how accurate it has become and they think it is no coincidence.
One Scene Discusses A Manmade Coronavirus Outbreak
The scene in question that everyone has been talking about is a scene where a doctor talks about how a new type of coronavirus has been created. She is searching for a cure and said that the virus falls into the same category of MERS or even the common flu.
The doctor even goes on to say that the coronavirus attacks the respiratory system. The present-day coronavirus also coincidentally attacks the respiratory system and can cause trouble breathing. She refers to the virus in the series as a “mutant virus,” with a mortality rate of almost 90%. It can wipe out almost the entire population. Perhaps the biggest similarity between the two viruses is that they both have an incubation period of up to 14 days. People have begun to feel symptoms two weeks after they initially contracted the virus.
People began to post screen recordings of the scene from the show where the doctor talks about coronavirus on Twitter. They could not believe the number of similarities to the current coronavirus the world is experiencing.
One Twitter user questioned how the writer knew the exact symptoms.
My Secret Terrius. On Netflix I watched this last year and only just remembered about this after all this Coronavirus shit. Still how the hell did the writer know in detail all about symptoms?????? pic.twitter.com/FBlRbBR3x4
It seems like a few people believe that the coronavirus could be manmade just like it is in the show since all of the information about it seems to be relatively accurate.
One Twitter user questioned, “was it a plan?”
This is crazy . If you are home , go on Netflix now ……. Type “My Secret Terrius” and go to season -1 and episode 10 and move straight to 53 minutes point ! (P.S. this season was made in 2018 and we are in 2020) . This is shocking 😡😡😡 was it a plan ?? pic.twitter.com/KqTZwA1IO2

Another wondered how this show had “such exact information two years before.”
I’m not a scientist, but I’m pretty certain a Corona Virus is a generic term that would cover Covid-19, SARS etc. That’s why it could appear in fictional literature and movies. Please stop feeling bullshit. #mysecretterrius
In the show, when the doctor is asked if there is a cure, she explains that there is no cure or vaccine at the moment. Much like with today’s virus there is still no known cure. People have been put on ventilators to help them breathe. However, we continue to remain optimistic that something will be available soon to help ease the effects of this pandemic.
Do you think My Secret Terrius predicted the current coronavirus pandemic? Or do you think it is all just a coincidence?
