Orlando proposed to Katy on Valentine’s Day in 2019, giving her a flower-shaped engagement ring which Katy has proudly shown off on the recent season of American Idol.
Both Katy and Orlando were previously married — Katy to comedian Russell Brand, and Orlando to model Miranda Kerr. Orlando shares a son, Flynn, with his ex Miranda.
In August of last year, Katy and Orlando welcomed their first child together. They named their baby daughter Daisy Dove Bloom. The family has been photographed recently enjoying the beach in Hawaii.
When Was Katy And Orlando’s Wedding Scheduled?
Katy and Orlando were originally supposed to tie the knot in December of 2019, but those plans were postponed due to location issues. The couple reportedly rescheduled the wedding for the summer of 2020 in Japan.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it again, not to mention Katy was pregnant with their daughter. “You can’t plan anymore in 2020 because those plans are always cancelled,” Katy told The Mirror. “We just want to deliver a healthy child. Everyone has to take life one week at a time right now.”
Katy and Orlando aren’t the only famous couple to put their wedding on hold during these uncertain times. The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have also been candid about how difficult it is to plan their nuptials.
