Sanchez’s Time on AGT, American Idol

For those who may not remember, Jessica Sanchez first appeared on America’s Got Talent Season 1 at only 10 years old. Although her audition was never aired, and she was eliminated from the semifinals without performing, Sanchez was brought back by judge Brandy Norwood during the Wild Card Show.

After being brought back as a wildcard, Sanchez sang “I Surrender” by Hillsong Worship. Judges Piers Morgan, Brandy Norwood and David Hasselhoff all voted “yes” on Sanchez. Unfortunately, she did not earn enough votes to continue in the competition.
