After finishing Dancing With The Stars season 32 with flying colors, Ariana Madix is now preparing for another journey. The reality television star will be making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago in early 2024.

Ariana Madix Teases Her Broadway Debut in Chicago

During her recent guest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Madix discussed her upcoming debut on Broadway. According to the Vanderpump Rules star, she’s been dreaming of becoming a theatrical actress.

“I went to school for theater, and I lived in New York for a while trying to pursue it, and it wasn’t getting anywhere. So I moved to LA to try to make a name for myself with hopes of coming back and doing it. And 20 years later, it’s like, ‘Here we are.’ Full circle,” she said.

Madix went on to admit how “excited” yet “terrified” she is for the journey. Nonetheless, the reality star stated that she trusts rehearsals will curb the pressure.

To encourage the actress, Clarkson mentioned how she was able to go through DWTS season 32. Furthermore, the “Stronger” hitmaker emphasized how Broadway could be easier for Madix as she’ll be learning one full routine to perform, unlike in DWTS where she has to learn a different choreography per week.

“You’re gonna be so great at the routine with Chicago by the time because you’re, you know, doing it repeatedly. You’re gonna kill it,” Clarkson said.

In Chicago, Madix will replace Charlotte d’Amboise in the starring role of Roxie Hart. She will join a cast of talents including Kimberly Marable as Velma Kelly, Lili Thomas as Matron “Mama” Morton, Max von Essen as Billy Flynn, James T. Lane as Amos Hart, R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine, and Max Clayton as Fred Casely. Her Broadway debut will take place on January 29, and she will play a limited engagement through March 24.

She Opens Up About New Book Single AF Cocktails

Elsewhere in the interview, Madix talked about her second cocktail book, Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches. As per the author, writing the book all by herself is an “empowering feeling.”

“It’s a creative medium for me,” she said. “I bartended for so long, trying to just survive as someone who wanted to be in entertainment.”

For those who may not know, the DWTS alum served as a bartender and hostess before being part of Vanderpump Rules.

Madix went on to state that it’s been “therapeutic” for her to write the book.

“When Ariana Madix famously discovered her partner was unfaithful, the incident—known as Scandoval—captivated audiences worldwide. She has now reclaimed her power, channeling her pain into a resounding statement of strength and resilience in Single AF Cocktails, a collection of alluring drinks that follow the trajectory of a relationship that starts beautifully but ends in disaster,” its Amazon description reads.
