Ariana Madix to Make Broadway Debut in Chicago
Madix has a degree in Theater and has spoken about her dream of appearing on Broadway. Now that dream is becoming a reality, as she’s set to take on the role of Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago for an eight-week run starting in January.
“It is just the biggest dream come true. I cannot believe this is real life. I’m gonna cry,” Madix told the co-hosts after sharing the news.
Madix will appear in the show from January 29 to March 24, 2024. As People points out, she’s not the first Bravo celebrity to perform in Chicago. Previous stars include Erika Girardi and Lisa Rinna from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as well as Kandi Burrus and NeNe Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Chicago is the longest-running musical on Broadway, with the revival opening in 1996. The show is set in the 1920s and focuses on female criminals, including the main character Roxie Hart.
