Darci Lynne Attended School in Her Hometown
After attending Deer Creek Middle School near her home in Edmond, Oklahoma, until eighth grade, Farmer started homeschooling. She stopped going to school in person while launching her ventriloquism career. In March 2016, at the age of 11, she appeared on Little Big Shots with her puppet Katie, singing “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart.”
After winning AGT, Lynne announced a national tour, Farmer and Friends Live, beginning in January and February 2018 with five locations. The tour later expanded to 52 dates, including nine Christmas performances called Rocking Around the Christmas Tree with Darci Lynne and Friends. Lynne also made appearances on Today, Grand Ole Opry, Pickler & Ben, and Kids Baking Championship, where she performed with Petunia.
