BIO: Chigvintsev began his dance career in America in 2003, when he began dancing with champion ballroom dancer Giselle Peacock. In 2005, he auditioned for the first season of So You Think You Can Dance. Five years later, he joined the show Strictly Come Dancing, in series eight. He stayed on the show for four seasons.
In 2014, Chigvintsev joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars season 18, as a member of the dance troupe. Beginning in the 19th season, Chigvintsev was promoted to a professional dancer. He has remained on the series ever since.
In 2017, Chigvintsev found love in the ballroom, when he was paired with Nikki Bella on Dancing With the Stars. The couple began dating in 2019, got engaged in 2020, and welcomed their first child in the same year. Due to the pandemic, Bella and Chigvintsev didn’t tie the knot until August 26, 2022.
