Ever since Gabrielle Union got the boot on America’s Got Talent the rumors started flying about who will replace her and today we finaly have an official announcement. Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum will replace Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough on the judging panel of ‘AGT’ Season 15. Read furthur to see how they all reacted.

The announcement first came in a report by Variety.com, which ironically is the same outlet that broke the Gabrielle Union ‘AGT’ “toxic culture” allegations. They go on to quote sofia’s reaction to her new post: “I’m so happy to join my new family on ‘AGT. This is a new and exciting next chapter for me and I’m extremely proud to be the first Latin judge on the show. I can’t wait to watch all the talent and have fun with all you guys!”
Shortly thereafter America’s Got Talent officially made the announcement via twitter: “get ready for season 15 of #AGT with new judge Sofia Vergara joining Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Terry Crews.

Sofia told Britain’s Metro Newspaper in 2017 that “We have been blessed with some incredible guests, but if you are asking who my dream guest would be I would have to say Mr. Simon Cowell.” She continued to explain what she likes about Simon Cowell: “He is known for having one of the sharpest tongues in showbiz. Gloria is known for her sharp tongue. It could make for some funny TV – and maybe Mr Nasty would learn never to mess with Latin American women!”
