“I’m really into feeling more self-assured as you get older. That’s the thing to truly embrace. It’s harmful when aging becomes an obsession,” Aguilera said. “I also think that everybody has a different outlook with how they want to age. It’s a very personal conversation — what works for some people might not work for others.”
While she is open to trying new things to make her feel more confident, Aguilera hopes to change the conversation around aging. She believes that viewing aging as a negative is an old-school approach and encourages people to embrace every stage of their lives.

Aguilera’s eight-year-old daughter, Summer, is already following in her mother’s creative footsteps. Recently, Aguilera shared a glimpse of her youngest child’s artwork with fans, and it’s truly impressive.
In a series of photos and videos posted on Instagram, Summer can be seen using her on-the-go art kit to color and sketch while sitting on the stage where her mother was set to perform. The video also shows Summer flipping through pages of her drawing pad to reveal her latest project, a colored sketch of her view of the venue with “Mama’s Audience and Show in Chile” written on top.
Aguilera expressed her excitement in the caption, sharing that “moments like these,” make her job “worthwhile.” She loves traveling around the world with her family, making new memories, and seeing her daughter capture her experiences in her own creative way.
