The Singers Journey Within the Latin Music Genre, What’s to Come
In January 2022, Aguilera rejoined the Latin music industry after over 20 years. Ahead of her Spanish-language trilogy set the singer made her genre debut with the 2000 release, Mi Reflejo. Her early 2022 release, La Fuerza debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums charts, while two singles “Pa’ Mis Muchachas” and “Santo” made it onto the Hot Latin Songs chart.
Aguilera stated that she chose to break up her new era of music into a trilogy set, so each release could have their “own time to shine.” The singer has also admitted that she’s using her upcoming releases to address personal aspects that she normally doesn’t discuss.
“I’m coming from a place where I’m making peace with certain parts of my past,” she said.
Fans expect to hear more stories about the singer’s father, whom she normally doesn’t write about. Fans are super excited to see Aguilera’s next launch. I expect La Tormenta and “Suéltame” to climb the charts in the same way as La Fuerza.
